Why Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is an old art. It was known to our ancestors and was practiced after bathing and exercise to balance and center the body. They understood that health involves equal development of the mind and body. In the world we live in, we rarely take time to allow our bodies to recover from the rigors and pressures of every day routines.

Massage is a form of therapy through touch. It is effective for relieving stress, tension, chronic pain and dysfunctions, as well as increasing circulation and range of motion. Therapeutic massage helps to reduce discomfort and aids in the rehabilitation of injury. Additionally, incorporating massage into your life will act as a preventative means for health and well being.
